SINGLE-FAMILY HOUSE EXTENSION PROJECT

The extension involves creating a spacious living area, including a kitchen, dining room, and living room with a large bookshelf. The key design challenge was connecting two different ceiling heights – the typical "Polish cube" with the new part featuring a high ceiling. Due to technical reasons related to the planned rooftop terrace on the added section, it was necessary to partially lower the ceiling to 208 cm in the zone connecting both structures. A visual solution was developed that integrates these two heights into a cohesive, harmonious whole. A huge HST window opens the space to the terrace and garden greenery – the furniture arrangement, with the sofa facing the garden, maximizes this advantage. The project references the existing part of the house, where white, wood, and black accents dominate, while giving the space a modern character. The color palette is enriched with blue – the investor's favorite color. The unifying element is Calacatta marble, combining white and black. The result is a spacious, modern living area that harmoniously connects with the existing part of the house while creating a new quality of life adapted to the residents' needs.
